Old Site

New Site

Palm Beach Aquatics' (Florida) old site doesn't convey a theme that represents what the company has to offer.  The new site will clearly give visitors from their first impression what the scope of the company is - lake management.  Someone searching for their services will immediately recognize that they're in the right place.

This site is under construction.

LoLo's Log Furniture's (Montana) old site had a lot of nice features, but due to technical issues, wasn't useable to dialup users due to excessive file sizes.  The old site was developed by the owners who had no web design experience, but did use very good photos, attractive fonts, and a simple, but elegant layout.  The redesign preserved their original design goals, but corrected the file size issues, streamlined the content, and reformatted the pages for greater control.

Air Carrier Compliance Group's (Florida) original site was created by a web designer that didn't create a look that said "aviation".  In the new site you'll see 6 different custom headers that represent typical aircraft types related to ACCG's service.  The old site also had a menubar system that was very difficult to update.  The new one can literally be updated in a minute.

Sheyenne Valley Lodge's (North Dakota) original site, like ACCG's, had a menubar system that was very labor intensive ($$) to update if it really could be updated at all..

It also had "greens" that didn't match and a camouflage pattern in the left margin that repeated themselves across screens that were set to high resolutions.  The new site now retains its proportions.

Hickory Creek's (Mississippi) original site was created without the benefit of a graphics program.  Images sizes were excessive and the colors really clashed.

The new site was streamlined for easy navigation, and extra attention was paid to reducing files sizes of their online brochures.

Sugartop Fine Furniture's (Vermont) current site was created much the same way as Hickory Creek's.  Both sites are a good example of companies with excellent products and services, but needing a web site that matches the quality of their operation.

Two prototypes were created to illustrate the type of makeover Sugartop could have.
