A website that can't be seen by the search engines might as well not exist.  Why?  Most of your traffic will come from the search engines so, just as important as it is to have a professional looking website, it's even more important to effectively market it!

These are the building blocks of the program:

  • Custom MetaTags - I will write or rewrite the metatags for each of your web pages.  They will match the theme of your web page.  Each page will have unique tags.
  • Custom Content Tweaking - As I rewrite your metatags, I'll look for opportunities to enhance your content.  For example in my site, I usually change "site" to web site or website to make the word more descriptive to the search engines.
  • Site Map - Make sure the search engines can index all your pages!  If you have a fancy menubar system (Javascript based, e.g.), then you need a "Site Map" to ensure that all of your pages will be found and ranked. 
  • Keyword Bidding - Enrolling in this program allows you to pay for excellent search engine rankings.  It can be a temporary or permanent part of your marketing scheme.  It attracts high targeted traffic to your website the day you go online with the program!
  • Links Page - Getting other web sites to link to your site is critical to good search engine rankings!  This program will provide high quality links from others in your industry while you'll return the favor by linking to them!
  • Information Pages - These pages are articles written by you or offered free for use by other authors (with proper credit given) that are related in content to your website.  They provide multiple additional avenues that help visitors find your site.  Search engines love information and reward those that provide it!

Service Charges

Since no website is the same, contact me for a no-obligaition comprehensive price.  Once quoted, the price will not increase regardless of how much time a project may have taken should snags be encountered.  If time savings are realized, you'll pay that much less!

My base rate is $35/hour and listed below are the estimated times it takes to complete each job above. 

  • Custom MetaTags AND Custom Content AND Site Map  - FREE for sites that I built.  I always write custom metatags, content and a site map for each website I build.  For websites built by other designers, I charge ONE HOUR per PAGE to complete these jobs.  These three jobs are done simultaneously as each page is modified for maximum efficiency and economy.
  • Keyword Bidding - THREE HOURS to initially setup the account, research keywords, write the links and description text, and bid.  This includes the first 50 keywords bid.  Add ONE HOUR for each additional block of 25 keywords.  Minimum $20/month in click charges billed by vendor.
  • Links Page - $20/month plus TEN HOURS to setup the program.  Very labor intensive as dozens upon dozens of webmasters have to be contacted to arrange the link exchange.
  • Information Pages - ONE PAGE per HOUR for content that I find and publish,  TWO AND A HALF PAGES per HOUR for cut-and-paste content that you provide and I publish.  All pages get custom metatags and inclusion into the site map.

Starter Package Example

A ten page site created elsewhere, with 75 keywords bid, a links page full of relevant links to other sites linked to yours, and 10 information pages where you found the content online would cost:

  • $350 for the metatags, content, and site map
  • $140 for the keyword bidding plus ongoing per click charges
  • $350 for setting up dozens of reciprocal links plus $20/mo.
  • $140 for 10 information pages

For a grand total of $980 for sites built elsewhere.  $630 for sites that I built.

As your site climbs in the rankings, you may choose to discontinue the keyword bidding, but you'll always want to add more reciprocal links and information pages in order to further improve your appeal to the search engines!

Why pay a web designer to do this?  Same reason you pay a pilot to fly your plane.  Unless you know what you're doing, it's best to leave it to those that do it for a living!!
