In order to do the best possible web site design job for you and your company, I need all of my clients to do some important "homework".  With this information and research, I then put the pieces of the puzzle together to create your new web site.

  • Research the internet looking for sites that have a look that you admire.  We aren't going to "copy" the site, but rather emulate those styles that catch you eye.  These sites can come from any industry.  This step is critical to saving $$.
  • Research your competitors' sites for ideas on the kind of content you'd like to have on your own site.
  • Assemble your content, which might already exist in your own brochures, e.g., to be reused on the web site.  Whatever you don't have should be created as much as possible.  In a nutshell, a web site designer doesn't create content, but assembles the content that is created for him.
  • Collect all of your computer files that contain your logo, letterhead, business cards, photos, etc.... that can be reused on your site.  If you don't have these yet, I can create then for you to match your new web site.

As I begin to design your web site's template, I'll email prototypes early on looking for feedback.  Once we nail down the "look" of the web site template, then we'll move onto building the pages with the content you provide.

50% Deposit:

Before a new job is started, a 50% deposit is required for new clients.  The balance will be due upon completion.  The client does not "own" the site until it is paid in full.

Once a business relationship has been developed, work will be billed as it is completed.
